Instead of just linking you to all the different talk shows that were done for Fifty Shades Darker, I thought I would share about the experiences I had seeing some of these shows.
But I will also include some links to some of the other interviews too, at the bottom of the page.
Today Show with Erika Leonard on Monday, January 30, 2017
It was a cold morning, but not nearly as cold as two years ago. Mags was busy so I was on my own, but knew some others who might show up. I was there around 6:30-6:45 and went through security and stood around freezing my buns off until 8:35 when Erika was on. But I did meet some fans there and had a nice chat with them while we waited. We also chatted with the staff on the plaza and got to do an interview for Sirius radio.
Erika did come out very briefly to sign books and take pictures, and then seemed to rush off, probably to her flight to LA.
A couple people had masks there, myself included, and they did get the attention of the staff and Hoda, helping us get on TV! Tip for anyone visiting – bring or make a sign, chat with the staff, or do something interesting and you’ll be on TV! But you’ll have to put a bit of effort into it.

Jimmy Kimmel with Jamie Dornan on Tuesday, January 31, 2017
The girls I was with were scattered about. Some were the priority line, I was in the general admission line, and there was a nice group in the back waiting for Jamie to come and go. He did stop when he left at the end of the show, but not when he came in for the show.
As for us in line… It was a long wait, especially since they delayed the start of the show by 30 minutes. Once inside it was very easy to see there were a lot of Jamie Dornan fans inside, they were scattered through the audience. It wasn’t long before they started to warm up the crowd, not that we needed it, I think it was one of the best audiences I’ve been in. We went crazy any time Jamie was hinted at. It was a lot of fun.
Jimmy stopped and talked to the crowd during some of the breaks and was very funny, as was the stand up comic who ran the room before the show and during breaks. He gave out some (stress) balls and T-shirts to a few guests. For a T-shirt you had to do a talent… We didn’t have a very talented group, but we had some laughs. One of the girls Mags and I was with won a crown for Queen of the Audience!
Jimmy probably had the best atmosphere of all the shows I did, we were all hyped up and having a good time there, leaving with smiles on our faces.
Conan O’Brien with Jamie Dornan on Wednesday, February 1, 2017
Everyone I know who wanted tickets seemed to end up with tickets to this show, which made for a fun wait in line. Conan has one of the best waiting systems of all the TV shows I’ve been to. You go to a parking garage, go through security and sit on benches and wait a while. A good half of the crowd was Fifty Shades fans so we were all running around chatting with each other, taking pictures. It was a lot of fun. About an hour and a half before they were going to bring us in to the show they checked us in, assigned us to groups and then sent us on our way to have lunch.
Once we were back to line up to see the show my group discovered that our group which was on one ticket, was split up. It was really weird, and we ended up rectifying the situation. But it was weird to have happened. From there we were walked through the Warner Brothers lot, which was pretty cool, we saw the building for the Friend’s set and parking for Big Bang Theory people, as well as some trailers from the lot.
Once in the theater the Fifty Shades fans were split up, but still dominated the show, making for a very loud audience when he appeared. Especially when he took off his jacked to do his pommel horse trick…. I think that is all that needs to be said about Jamie on Conan.

Rita Ora co-hosts Live with Kelly on Monday, February 6, 2017
While I was in LA my wait listed tickets for Live with Kelly became real tickets. So off I was to yet another talk show. This time I got great seats and since Rita was the co-host she was on set the whole show. That gave me plenty of time to plot a way to get her attention. I decided to yell “Hi Rita” during a break. Surprising it worked. She saw me, said hi and commented that we matched and that we should take a picture. Who am I to argue with that???? So at the end of the show she took a picture with me and one or two other audience members. At the end of the show she said she was nervous, but she did great and was very sweet during my brief interaction with her.
Shows I didn’t see, but I found clips from (I’ll try to add some if I find more, so feel free to check back here)
