I recently covered the furniture of BRABBU and Koket that was used in Fifty Shades of Grey, in this post I’ll be covering the lighting from DelightFULL that was used in the film. What I really like about the lighting is that if you wanted purchase a piece from the film for your own home, this is a bit easier, cheaper (though still Christian Grey pricing) than an accent table, and doesn’t require much redecorating. And there are a couple different pieces that would suit different interior design.
Below are the pieces from DelightFULL that were used, I’ve included set pictures and the pictures I took at the furniture convention when I went to look at the pieces. I’ll also add that the staff at the DelightFULL booth were very friendly and happy to show me all the pieces they had, which was quite a few.
This piece is a bit hidden in Christian’s apartment, it’s located behind the stairs and past the kitchen.
With a mid-century vibe, this floor lamp is all about fulfilling customer’s needs: that’s why it is also easy to set. Its strict form gives elegance and the glow of its complements follows the more actual trends. Evans has three diffusers, each one adjustable in direction. Its structure is handmade in brass and the lampshades in aluminum.
Prominently located near the doorway to Christian’s bedroom and near a mystery hallway.
Characterized by the rhythmic composition of its elements, reduced shapes, clean lines and lots of black, Ike floor lamp truly embodies what a Delightfull piece is an elegant look full of refinement and modernity. Ike is the result of a collaboration between a Dutch designer and Delightfull’s design team. Strict northern design rules meet a southern taste.
A simple, but elegant table lamp that would probably work nicely on a desk too. This piece is also in the foyer near Christian’s bedroom.
Amy is a tribute to the great British singer and songwriter. Outlined by the black of her hair and her round earring… The inside is in gold like her golden voice. The irreverent table version will surely look great on top of a desk or sideboard. Handmade in brass and with its lampshades in aluminum exactly like it was made in the 50’s. A new design star.
I saw this in white, but it’s used in black on a white table when you first walk into Christian’s apartment.
Turner table is simply a head turner. Inspired by Tina Turner’s dance moves it has an art deco shape with the possibility of rotating its arcs into the desired position so that you can create your favorite composition at any time. The arcs are made in brass with a copper finish and the top cover in aluminum lacquered in glossy white.
A very modern and fun piece that is located in Christian’s dining room.
Merely mention the name Coltrane and you feel a deep connection with innovation and the expressive music in jazz. Taking these powerful connections created by John Coltrane our designers have created a monumental design that will withstand time. With 1, 2 or 3 iron tubes, this lamp stands out with a unique and contemporary visual effect.
