What is your name? Elena.
Where are you from? Madrid, Spain
How did you come to read Fifty Shades of Grey?
I read a book review about a new book phenomenon called Mommy porn on a newspaper, and I was intrigued by it, so I read of the first one and could not stop reading until I finished the story.
Did you read an actual book or an ebook?
I read all three as ebooks in English. The books were not released in Spanish at this time (and fortunately, the Spanish translation is not very good from my point of view)
Which is your favorite book in the series?
The first one, Fifty Shades of Grey. It is the very begining of everything, the discovery of both Christian and Ana’s worlds by the other one, and I love it.
What is your favorite scene in the series?
OMG, it’s so difficult to choose one! The scene “Fuck the paper” in the elevator is sooo hot. The interview. When he reveals he loves Ana… And I really, really enjoy the bonus of the 3rd book with Christian’s point of view.
How many times have you read the series?
First book three or four times, FS Darker two times and FS Freed only one time…
Outside of Fifty Shades of Grey, what is your favorite book, series or author?
My taste is very eclectic. I’ve always loved Perfume by Süskind, Le petit Prince by St. Exupéry, One hundred years of solitude by García Marquez, Poems by the Spanish 27 Generation… I’ve just finished The Rise above the Stars, by John Green and I loved it.
If you were to meet E L James today, what 2 questions would you ask her?
– Do Christian and Ana still live in your head? Do they continue their story, each day inside you?
– What do you think about us, the Fifty Shades fans and all the crazyness about the books and how do you deal with it?
Have you had any unique experiences because of your love of Fifty Shades of Grey?
Yeah!! Absolutely. I’ve just known and met new and fantastic people, and also had access to other people that I could never have contacted in any other way in my life. I’ve been on TV and had some interviews too. In my case, everything that has happened after this has been unique!
What scene are you most looking forward to in Fifty Shades of Grey The Movie?
I’m dying to hear Christian Grey say Laters Baby. And I look forward the elevator scene and the first hours of Ana in the Escala.
