After chatting with Gabby about having her on the podcast to talk about why people hate Fifty Shades of Grey, I thought I should let the blog readers get to know her better too.
What is your name? Gabby
How did you come to read Fifty Shades of Grey?
I’m from the Philippines (Hi to all the Fifty Filipino fans!) and I was out of town with some friends who were reading something from their phones. I got so annoyed since they were so engrossed in the task and asked them what they were reading. They immediately sent it to my email without even describing what the book was about. Out of boredom, I started reading and it started from there!
Did you read an actual book or an ebook?
An ebook, though I would LOVE to get myself a copy of all three books
Which is your favorite book in the series?
Definitely “Fifty Shades Darker.” That book was the best rollercoaster ride and I loved seeing Christian’s transformation. That was the sexiest and sweetest part for me!
What is your favorite scene in the series?
It would be the “Christian the submissive” part in “Fifty Shades Darker”. I looked like a train wreck while reading that part. My tear ducts were almost empty!
How many times have you read the series?
I don’t think there’s even an exact number for this anymore, so I’ll just say… an x number of times!
Outside of Fifty Shades of Grey, what is your favorite book, series or author?
Honestly, I don’t like reading too much. I’d rather watch my favorite TV series like White Collar (huge Matt Bomer fan!), Suits, Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead… the list is endless! “Fifty Shades” is really the only book series I got so attached to.
If you were to meet E L James today, what 2 questions would you ask her?
- If you were to meet and do an interview with Christian Grey himself, what questions would you ask him?
- If Kate didn’t have the flu that day, how would Christian and Ana meet?
Have you had any unique experiences because of your love of Fifty Shades of Grey?
Starting my Twitter account and “fangirling” with people I’ve never met before would be a unique experience for me. I have also discovered so many things about Hollywood and how to get a hold of photos and news!
What scene are you most looking forward to in Fifty Shades of Grey The Movie?
I am so excited and curious as to how they will be showing the ending, especially when Christian uses the belt. That scene really scared me and brought me to tears and I bet it will be a million times better (and scarier) on screen!
Where can people find you on the web?
