How did you come to read Fifty Shades of Grey?
My mom saw the book on NYT best sellers list and requested from the local library. She started reading it and said you have to read this.We traded off and we had both read a section we would discuss.
Did you read an actual book or an ebook?
It was a paper back that we read. I have since downloaded them to my ipad.
How many times have you read the series?
2-3 times. If I see someone make reference to a segment I will dive in and find the passages surrounding it so I understand the context.
Which is your favorite book in the series?
That is like trying to pick a favorite child. But honestly Darker. It ends on a hopeful note and doesn’t have as much angst as Freed. I like that one as well.
What is your favorite scene in the series?
The party at his parents’ house with the masked ball. Also when he lets her take the controls of Grace.
What is your favorite scene from Christian’s POV in Grey?
When he goes to buy her the ipad. It’s the first sign that he is willing to go out of his way. The laptop was something he farmed out. The ipad was personal. I found myself liking him more for that. Also surprised that the Hardy collection was from his library.
Outside of Fifty Shades of Grey, what is your favorite book, series or author?
Lauren Willig is one of my favorites. Susan E Phillips another. My tastes are eclectic.
If you were to meet E L James today, what 2 questions would you ask her?
Was the genesis of the story about the power interplay between C&A and the sex secondary to that?

Have you had any unique experiences because of your love of Fifty Shades of Grey?
Getting to know all of you virtually any way. This interview… I try as a whole to keep a low profile… flying to Florida to see it in the theater with a friend.

I liked that they kept the humor and the emails. When Christian met Ray
What scene are you most looking forward to in Fifty Shades Darker The Movie?
Charity Ball, hopefully they include sailing on The Grace. Meeting Flynn more of Taylor..perhaps the Lemon Drop Martini in Mrs Robinsons face..
