Earlier this year while recuperating from surgery I got to recuperate over Twitter with Julianne. There’s nothing like having someone understand being sick and drugged up (on purpose) with you.
What is your name? Julianne
Where are you from? France
How did you come to read Fifty Shades of Grey?
The first time I heard about Fifty was during an interview with Ian Somerholder and they talked about it a little. So I looked it up and read the synopsis but that was it. Then a few months later my best friend told me about it so I was intrigued so that’s how I came to read the trilogy.
Did you read an actual book or an ebook?
I read a paperback version and when I finished the first book I couldn’t find the English version in stores so I purchased the whole trilogy on amazon. In the meantime (Coz I couldn’t wait ) I bought the ebooks. xD.
Which is your favorite book in the series?
Well…The first book is the beginning of everything: The thrill, anticipation and the introduction to Christian Grey’s world. But I’m going to go with the second one (Fifty Shades Darker)
What is your favorite scene in the series?
My favorite scene in the entire series …Well it’s difficult to choose. I have two favorites and both of them are in “Darker”
The first one is the Shower Scene at the end of Chapter 8 when Christian confesses his love to Ana.
The second is at the end of Chapter 13 and beginning of Chapter 14: Christian the Submissive.
How many times have you read the series?
I can’t remember how many times I’ve read Fifty shades of Grey and Fifty shades Darker, I lost the count. But the 3th book I’ve read it 3 times.
Outside of Fifty Shades of Grey, what is your favorite book, series or author?
Besides the Fifty Shades Series, my favorite author is Sylvain Reynard, I absolutely love his books (The Gabriel Series) He has a way with words that makes my head spin; such an elegant, romantic yet very VERY sexy writing.
If you were to meet E L James today, what 2 questions would you ask her?
I would ask for an autograph and a picture 😀 No questions!
Have you had any unique experiences because of your love of Fifty Shades of Grey?
After reading the trilogy, my best friend (@Cuty_ER) and I had this code language that we use when we want to talk about the books in public situations. We still make jokes and nobody understands why we’re laughing so hard.
And it was this one time; I was with some friends in a coffee shop, when the waiter asked: what are you having? I said: “Do you have Ice cream?” And then he said: “Some Ben & Jerry’s maybe?” I gasped and said: “WHAT?” I blushed so hard and thought: “Damn you Christian Grey!!”
What scene are you most looking forward to in Fifty Shades of Grey The Movie?
The interview and the first time Ana visits Christian Grey’s loft.
Where can people find you on the web?
