This week I wanted to interview someone I have gotten to know through the Podcast, Tammie has sent tons of feedback, so I thought you should also have the chance to get to know her.
What is your name? Tammie
Where are you from? Florida, USA
How did you come to read Fifty Shades of Grey?
Dr Oz had a whole episode about it on his TV show. I had heard of it, but seeing all those people talking about it made me finally decide it was time.
Did you read an actual book or an ebook?
I listened to the audiobooks. I have the first one in ebook format on my tablet, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I plan on buying the actual books some day.
Which is your favorite book in the series?
This is a hard one to answer. Maybe Fifty Shades of Grey or Fifty Shades Darker.
What is your favorite scene in the series?
Another hard one to answer! There’s so many to choose from. I think my favorite scene is each scene that makes me forget to breathe. Like when they are so close to each other, or there is a simple touch shared, but then nothing happens. All that sexual energy you can feel coming out of the words of the story. Yeah, I like that.
How many times have you read the series?
Honestly, I’ve listened to them maybe 15 times in total. But if you count all the other times I’ve just started them in radom spots, then I’d go more the 50 count.
Outside of Fifty Shades of Grey, what is your favorite book, series or author?
Who can actually answer this with only ONE?! A few of my other favorites are “The Forbidden Games” books by LJ Smith, the “Twilight” books by Stephanie Meyer, “The Hunger Games” books by Suzanne Collins, and “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll.
If you were to meet E L James today, what 2 questions would you ask her?
If you could choose one of your FSOG characters to become real and you could spend the day with them… 1) Who would you choose? 2) What would you do?
Have you had any unique experiences because of your love of Fifty Shades of Grey?
I wouldn’t say unique really. But I use Twitter a hell of a lot more now. LOL.
What scene are you most looking forward to in Fifty Shades of Grey The Movie?
I’m not really sure. I guess I would have to say that I’m looking forward to Dakota Johnson kicking my ass all over the screen by proving to me that she can play Ana. I’m still having trouble envisioning her in that role. I hope I am very wrong about my reluctance of her in the movie.
Where can people find you on the web?
Website: www.gimpyandteapot.com (My friend and I have our own entertainment podcast. I do a segment we’ve recently titled “Teapot’s Red Rant of Pain” in which I talk about FSOG and complain a lot about Dakota Johnson. – And even in the podcast I say how I wish I will be blown away by her! – Don’t hate on me yet! LOL)
