The 2014 Interior Design Show West (IDS West) took place in Vancouver at the end of September.
According to their website “design enthusiasts from far and wide to come to Vancouver to experience what’s up-and-coming in the world of design and to learn from the wealth of creative talent we have amassed under one roof!”
Among the many beautiful designs and artists from all over the world showcasing some of their up and coming pieces, Vancouver’s Blu Bathworks, the company that produces the locally designed and Italian made Lime Halo tub (made of quartzite and resin) was showcased as a designer to watch.
We can look forward to getting a closer look at the bathtub, considering this is the tub that has been selected for the FSOG movie.
According to a recent The Vancouver Sun article someone saw it online and in a few showrooms and loved it so much they’ve kept the tub for future movies.
There is something almost fantastical about the idea of sinking into a perfectly sculpted lime bathtub, which is why it seems the right choice for the soon to be released film adaptation of E.L. James’ best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey.
The tub looks like it can fit JD and DJ comfortably! Wonder whether it would do the same for me!
